McEown Location

The USSU Childcare Centre – McEown location at 109 Cumberland Avenue South, beside Souris Hall has 90 children from 6 months to 6 years.

The ages are split into six groups:

• Baby Room (Infants) – 6 months to 18 months – 6 children to 2 ECEs
• Bumblee Room (Toddler) – 19 months to 2 ½ years – 10 children to 2 ECEs
• Ladybug Room (Toddler/Preschool) – 19 months to 3 ½ yrs – 14 children to 2 ECEs
• Butterfly Room (Toddler/Preschool) – 19 months to 3 ½ yrs – 20 children to 3 ECEs
• Dragonfly Room (Preschool) – 3 ½ to 4 ½ yrs – 20 children to 2 ECEs
• Firefly Room (Preschool) – 4 ½ to 6 yrs – 20 children to 2 ECEs

We also have 3 full-time ECE who help in various rooms with ratios daily.
